verdict : No good story. Two twists , good dance, over action.., Finally ... Ok Ok types!

Entry of Lead cast :

Aamir Khan makes his entry by running vertically down a building, with currency notes flying everywhere and a background score that sounds like “We want chocolate we want chocolate”.

Abhishek Bachchan makes his entry by breaking through a concrete wall in an auto rickshaw, then jumps over rooftops in the auto and then does Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 2 bike stunts with the auto.

Katrina Kaif makes her entry by doing a Marky Mark-“Good Vibrations”-style, five-minute-long aerobics workout (and/or striptease) as an impromptu audition for The Great Indian Circus in Chicago.
Production

Crew:
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Screenplay, Acharya, Prakash Bharadwaj; story, Acharya, Aditya Chopra. Story:
An engaging tale the story is set on the backdrop of Chicago and a bank is getting looted by a thief leaving a clown’s mask. He is Sahir (aamir) who has a circus show and he also has a vengeance behind this act. From India come the duo of ACP Jai Dixit (abhishek) and Ali (uday chopra) to catch the thief. Meanwhile, Sahir is joined by the beautiful Aaliya (katrina) in his circus acts. Whether Jai and Ali are able to catch Sahir or not forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
It is best to reveal as little as possible about Aamir’s character. To say the least, Aamir Khan is sincere in whatever he does. He plays every shade of his role with smoothness, ease and perfection.
Katrina Kaif is beautiful in every frame. She is perfect with her acts and the dance. Sadly, her role isn’t written with more meat or emotion.
Abhishek Bachchan is as good as Jai Dixit as he has always been.
And no curt words for Uday Chopra. God bless him for all the comic relief he provides. Without him, Dhoom would be a brooding and distastefully somber.
Technical Departments:
The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was average but the screenplay made the whole difference. The background score was gripping and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was exceptional.
Editing was crisp. Costumes were stylish and well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was fabulous. Aamir Khan has taken the film to a new level with his performance, Katrina was stunningly sexy and eye catching, Abhishek was good, Uday Chopra brought few smiles. Not much for the foreign actors. Jackie was brief but made his presence felt.

Bindaas & Ragada fame Veeru Potla, Andala Rakshasi fame Lavanya tripathi… Oh-Yeah the most popular & famous Bramhanandam – Manchu Vishnu combination has set expectations of the movie higher.
Recently released theatrical trailer earned audience applause, Though the film was planned for Dassera initially… It is hitting theaters this week.
Manchu Vishnu’s Doosukeltha movie has earned good remarks from the ace directors Dasari Narayana rao, Srinu Vaitla, Srivas, B.Gopal and Nageswara Reddy, who watched the movie in a special screening show held exclusively for them. According to Vaitla, the first half is terrific and the second of is very much gripping than the first half. He is quite impressed with the thrilling stunt scene in the climax and the dialogues between lead pair. Vishnu’s performance and dances are marvelous, opines Vaitla. All the directors have given good remarks for the right mix of action, comedy, romance in the film. They are very much surprised to see the way the story is presented with surprising twists and the marvelous comedy track played by ace comedian Brahmanandam. Manchu Lakshmi, who played cameo in the movie, also earned appreciations for her marvelous performance.
Doosukeltha is going to delight the audiences in the festive session and definitely going to be a milestone in Vishnu’s career. This film is releasing on 17th of October worldwide. This film is directed by Veeru Potla and produced by Mohan babu under 24 Frames Factory banners. Lavanya Tripati is pairing with Vishnu in this movie.
What is Doosukletha Story:
Movie opens with some goons chasing Venkateswara Rao / Chinna (Vishnu), an investigative journalist and Ravi Teja’s voice over introducing him. The story dates back to some 13 years to Pitchapuram village. Kota Srinivasa Rao, a Jamindar there refuses to accept his brother’s son, Sarveswara Rao (Rao Ramesh) along with his wife and daughter Alekhya / Chinni who visits them after 10 years. Alekhya with the help of her school mate, Chinna (Manchu Vishnu), a spoilt brat, Chinna challenges Picheswara Rao (Zamindar’s grandson, Vennela Kishore) and makes a deal that the loser should leave the town for 13 years. Picheswara Rao loses and finally leaves the village. Chinna’s father, a farmer senses the danger from the Jamindar leaves the town. What happens next forms the actual story.
How did they Perform?
Manchu Vishnu delivered a much improved performance. But he need to go a long way in dialogue delivery. His dances and fights will add value to the movie. Andala Rakshasi fame Lavanya gets a role with substance and she pulled it off very well. She looked stunning in traditional attire.
There is a galaxy of comedians in the movie. Brahma Nandam, Bharath, Raghu babu, Vennela Kishore and Hema had made a literal laughing riot in the movie. Ali do not have much screen space but managed some laughs. Kota Srinivas Rao, Pankaj Tripati are decent in their roles. Rao Ramesh is stunning and will undoubtedly be a perfect replacement to Prakash Raj in Telugu. Rest of them are okay
Technical Performances:
As the case of his previous films, Veeru Potla came up with a routine plot but a racy screenplay. His forte comedy was super hit once again especially the tracks involving Brahmi, Hema and Bharat. He took enough care of Vishnu’s dances and fights which will help the film in masses.
Mani Sharma’s music is awesome and three songs are well shot. Back Ground Score is excellent. Dialogues by Gopi Mohan and Veeru Potla are too good. Editing is decent and Camera work is good. Production values by 24 Frames Entertainment are good as well.
Final Say:
Doosukeltha is on the similar line of Vishnu’s earlier movie, Denikaina Ready but in this case, the director made sure that the screenplay is racy and entertainment quotient is doubled from Denikaina Ready. Finally Doosukeltha ended up as Paisa Vasool movie and one more hit to Vishnu. Enjoy it this weekend!

Zanjeer 2013 Movie Review:
It’s a confronting assignment to restructure the old drama with the same zeal, which pressed the audience to throw out their money for a seat in cinemas. In the past there have been flicks like Don and Agneepath, which stood up to the expectations while Aag and Himmatwala fell upon its face badly. Apporva Lakhria takes the 1973 ‘Zanjeer’ to create the same aura out of the flick that made the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan ‘The
angry young man’.
What we anticipated from the director was sheer maintenance of the old world charm with the fresh troupe of Ram, Priyanka and Sanjay but director stumbled here. Mala here isn’t a street dancer nor is Teja an underworld don. With these couple of changes, director Apoorva Lakhria presents you the Zanjeer. We aren’t complaining any new addition to the story as it’s a known fact that it’s a remake, which begins with Vijay (Ram Charan) an
honest police officer who is deployed in Mumbai to unearth the oil mafia Teja (Prakash Mehra).
Here he is also handed over a case of an official who is burnt alive by oil mafia’s goons whose sole witness is Mala (Priyanka Chopra). In the meantime, he also faces Sher Khan (Sanjay Dutt) who deals in illegal cars. But the enmity turns into friendship after a hand-to-hand combat between the two. Sher Khan helps Vijay to detect Teja and to destroy him from the roots. Unfortunately the crime saga isn’t wrenching which moves you from
beneath.
Apoorva Lakhria pack all the masala ingredients into it but gives a half-baked recipe. You will find n number of loopholes in the flick but the anticipation to witness Sanjay Dutt as Sher Khan would rag you to stick in. The sole purpose to rope in Sanjay Dutt could be recognised by the fact that Agneepath was huge success where he played a devilish Kaancha. Vijay’s anguish attitude impresses you for a while but for long it doesn’t makes you serious.
However there are a couple of actions scenes, which are nicely choreographed and Ram Charan looks good in it. The South actor looks commanding. He has the aura to make one feel his strength. He gives a balanced performance. Priyanka Chopra hangs in her role of Mala. She sparkles the screen with her charm whenever she appears but doesn’t get too much to deliver. Sanjay Dutt as Sher Khan shouldn’t be compared with Late actor Pran. He invents his character and doesn’t go overboard. Prakash Raj makes his character larger than it is. Mahie Gill is good.
